The third educational product that the Sticks’n’Stones project provides is for parents. Through this project, our intention is to promote a ‘whole school approach’ to combatting bullying, which means that we aim to engage and empower parents to take an active role in preventing instances of bullying in schools.
Why are we promoting this approach? Research tells us that bullying behaviour often emerges in childhood, sometimes even before children enter primary school, and the consequences for victims can last a lifetime.
